My goal is to become a Dental Hygienist. I chose this goal for my vision tool because it is an ideal career choice. I believe it is a good goal because it applies to my future and gives me something to work for.
The first step to achieving my goal is to earn money for college. Secondly apply and sign up for college as well. Thirdly I will need to work hard on all assignments and test to insure graduation.I hope to reach my goal sometime within the next 5-8 years.
I chose to make a mouth because that will be the area that I will work on,plus it relates to dentistry. Not to mention the mouth bowl will hold change and keys that I will constantly use.
This vision tool will displayed by bedroom door or by the side of my bed. I chose that spot because that is where I put my keys and change. Not to mention I will constantly be looking at those spots and it will always be in view.
One challenge was the shape of the bowl, it couldn't get a smooth circle shape. I ended up folding the clay in a shape of a circle and folding the sides down so they were doubled. Another challenge was the teeth shape to make them realistic. I took my time and shaped them carefully. I also had to smooth the teeth to the gums so they didn't fall off.
